How to: Install AdRotate Pro on your website

Installing AdRotate Pro from your dashboard

Installing AdRotate Pro is easy and only takes a few minutes. Follow the steps below to get started.

1. Log in to your Wordpress or Classicpress dashboard and navigate to the Plugins dashboard page.
2. On the Plugins page click Add New and select Upload.
3. Upload the adrotate-pro.zip file and wait for the page to tell you it's finished. This may take a few seconds.
   _{The file is probably located in your Downloads folder or on your Desktop.}
4. Navigate to the Plugins dashboard page and activate AdRotate Professional.
5. Navigate to the AdRotate Pro menu and in there go to Settings > License.
6. Activate your license to get access to Ticket Support, Updates and AdRotate Geo.

Installing AdRotate Pro via (s)FTP or Webdav

1. Access your hosting account using your favorite (s)FTP or Webdav client.
2. Navigate to /wp-content/plugins/.
3. On your computer, locate and unzip the adrotate-pro.zip file and upload the resulting adrotate-pro folder to the plugins folder.
   ^{The file is probably located in your Downloads folder or on your Desktop.}
4. Next, log in to your Wordpress dashboard and navigate to the Plugins dashboard page.
5. Activate AdRotate Professional.
6. Navigate to the AdRotate Pro menu and in there go to Settings > License.
7. Activate your license to get access to Premium Support, Automatic Updates and AdRotate Geo.

If you also want to receive updates through your dashboard, install GooseUp as well.

GooseUp is a free add-on for all my plugins so you can receive updates right in your dashboard. GooseUp also supports Auto-Updates.

If you don't know how to install AdRotate Professional, or you simply don’t want to deal with it, you can buy the Installation Service. I’ll install AdRotate Pro for you. This can usually be done within 1 to 2 business days.

That said, most people can manage the installation just fine as it is easy and normally only takes a few minutes.
