Set up Advertisers
[- ADROTATE PRO FEATURE -]
Enabling advertisers let’s you assign adverts to WordPress users. These users can then review, edit or even create their own adverts from the dashboard. Setup is easy and requires only a few settings to be made.
First go into the AdRotate Pro Settings and navigate to the Access Roles tab and make sure your access roles are set up correctly.
Access Roles and Freedoms
All roles default to Administrator. At the bottom there is a section for Advertiser users. The one labelled Advertiser page is for advertisers and indicates the user level of your advertisers and if they should have access to their own little dashboard.
Typically this setting is either the dedicated Advertiser Role or Subscriber (or similar low level access).
Advertiser features
The top checkbox is to enable the Advertiser feature. Enabling this lets you appoint WordPress users as Advertisers.
If you want to separate your advertisers from regular subscribers you can use the Advertiser Role checkbox which will create a new Subscriber role called Advertisers. This role is identical to the subscriber role but with a different name. And of-course here you specify which user role has access to the Advertiser Page.
Advertiser profile
In every user in WordPress a few new options are visible which lets you mark that user as an advertiser and configure what they can and can not do with it. You can set up the permissions and enable advert features for them from each user profile.
